I couldn't think of a more imaginative title, but they are what they are....

I'm not a fashion blogger, but I had to post these as they have brought sunshine into my life and I'm prancing about amongst all the removal boxes feeling that much prettier and lighter on my feet.

I was once described by a teacher as being 'visually inhibited', which basically means that I'm easily distracted from what I'm doing because something has caught my eye and I'm away with the fairies... the result of which means that I went out with mother P and grandma P to buy a dustbinn and came back with rose-gold ballerina shoes instead.

I still have no dustbin, much to my mother's horror. To be fair, she did insist that I go and buy new shoes too, sensible ones that would withstand the torrential rain that thundered down all of yesterday. At least I fulfilled 50% of the brief. I mean, they are shoes after all. My very indulgent gran gifted them to me when she saw how besotted I was. But then she too insisted that we go find more 'practical' shoes and, finally, the dustbin.

 But in the end no practical shoes, no dustbin, just a smile and a skip and two despairing glances my way.
